Any ideas lads. There is a PUMA report that many customers are not riding the S1000RR to its fullest potential there by causing carbon build up on the back side of the valves. With the colder weather the fuel tends to be a bit on the rich side as well causing even more carbon. Put some injector cleaner in the fuel.

The BMW S1000RR inline four cylinder engine is going to vibrate more than the typical Japanese engine due to the fact that the BMW engine does not have a balancer shaft as the Japanese inline fours do. This allows the engine to rev quicker but the trade off is more vibration.
Just riding on the street with no place to be 3-5k, keeps the noise down and doesn't bother anyone. on the highway 6k ish as 80ish is the normal cruise speed. In the twisties I usually work the 5-7k range about the only time it sees above 9k is once in awhile running through the gears looking for the top end. 2019 BMW K1600GT. 2011 BMW S1000RR.
